Currently, I'm an associate professor at the Computer Science department at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná - PUCPR-Brazil. I'm a member of the Knowledge Discovery and Machine Learning Research Group - DCAM at the Post-Graduate Program on Informatics - PPGIa. My research interests span a range of issues covering Dialogue systems, Agents and Humam-Machine Interface, Knowledge Engineering, Ontology and Text and Data Mining.

- ACA2TVDi (in Portuguese): An Embodied Conversational Agent-Based Platform to Interactive Content Presenting for the Brazilian Digital TV System
- CSCW-SD (in Portuguese): An Architecture for Supporting Small Collocated Teams in Cooperative Software Development
I am the director of the Brazilian Center of Research on Web Intelligence - WIC-Brazil. The WIC - Brazil is a member of the Web Intelligence Consortium - WIC.
