- The preliminary meeting of the DLRCV project was held at the International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN 2019, Budapest-Hungria) in which Prof. Laurent Heutte (France), Prof. George Cavalcanti (Brazil), and Prof. Alceu Britto (Brazil) organized the Special Session (S19) "Ensemble Learning and Applications" on July 18th.

- (2:50pm) Prof. Luiz Oliveira presented the work titled "Double Transfer Learning for Breast Cancer Histopathologic Image Classification".
- (8:30am) Prof. Alceu Britto presented the work titled "Image Retrieval and Pattern Spotting using Siamese Neural Network.
- (2:00pm) Meeting of the DLRCV project members: Deep Learning for Pattern Spotting.
- (9:20am) Prof. Alceu Britto presented the work titled "Representation Learning vs. Handcrafted Features for Music Genre Classification.
- (4:00pm) Meeting of the DLRCV project members: Working on the Project WebSite.
- (8:00am-9:40am) Special Sesssion on Ensemble Learning and Applications where the foolowing works were presented:
- "Evaluating the Online Local Pool Generation Method for Imbalance Learning" by Mariana Souza (student) / Prof. George Cavalcanti (Brazil);
- "Adaptive Random Forests with Resampling for Imbalanced data Streams by Prof. Luiz Oliveira (Brazil);
- "Evaluating Competence Measures for Dynamic Regressor Selection by Thiago Moura (student) / Prof. George Cavalcanti.
- (4:00pm) Meeting of the DLRCV project members: i) prepare a first draft of the report to be submitted in October; and ii) plan the next meeting that will be organized in Lima (Peru).
